Artists & Decks
Each Art on Cards deck is conceived in direct collaboration with the artist, who personally selects both the images and the accompanying words in dialogue with the curator. The glossary and the imagery found in the deck originates from the artist’s own world: words, concepts and images that belong to his universe.
Art on Cards / Magonza
Each edition consists of a deck of cards, produced with high-quality printing, accompanied by a booklet presenting the project, the artist, and an interpretation of each card.
The entire edition — from the cards to the booklet and packaging — is designed, published, and printed in Italy by Magonza, the Arezzo-based publisher known for its editorial expertise, refined production standards, and attention to materials and craftsmanship.
Francesco Clemente
The deck is conceived by Francesco Clemente, who has personally selected both the images and the accompanying words in dialogue with the curator.
The booklet includes a curator’s text on the artist, the rules and instructions for playing, a brief text for each card, and examples of possible readings and combinations.
Shirin Neshat
NEXT EDITION 2027
The next edition is dedicated to Shirin Neshat and will be released in early 2027. It will introduce audiences to the powerful and unmistakable visual language of the Iranian-born artist, whose work explores identity, exile, gender, spirituality and the complex relationship between the individual and society.
