That is the leg you need to step into the next world.

I don’t think it is necessarily a good thing to be ambitious, but aspiring to be a prophet seems perfectly legitimate to me. Here, the prophet has the head of an animal—as if human beings had become such a tiresome subject that, at this point, it might be better to think about animals instead. One leg is missing, and this makes me think of the oldest graves, where there is often a broken hip. One leg is needed for this world, but the other is not needed here. That is the leg you need to step into the next world.
